Don't Stop Believin': Glee is officially coming back

The hit show originally ran for six seasons from 2009 to 2015.

AFTER MONTHS OF speculation, it’s official, Glee is coming back to our screens.

The hit show originally ran for six seasons from 2009 to 2015 and starred Lea Michele, Darren Criss, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, Diana Agron and Chris Colfer.

There is no word yet if any of the original cast will be returning for this reboot.

The news was announced this afternoon on the Disney+ and official Glee accounts, where they wrote: “Currently gleeking out!”

The show has only grown in popularity in recent years after becoming a phenomenon in its initial run.

Several of the show’s scenes and song covers have gone viral on social media over the years, bringing a new audience to it.

The show has also suffered some tragedy over the years with star Cory Monteith dying during filming back in 2013 and Naya Rivera passing away after a boat accident in July 2020.
